We stay at Oak Meadow Delight B & B every time we visit our daughter. The owners are charming, breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are beautiful. Best place by far in the whole area! We have stayed in 3 of the 4 rooms so far and have loved them all! The owners have a gift in hospitality and they make you feel like it's your home away from home.

I recently had to make a short trip to Ottumwa IA. I found the normal chain hotels and I was referred to Oak Meadows Delight B&B. I have traveled most of my adult life and have stayed at every type of hotel and B&B you can imagine. But I can assure you I have never stayed at a place that was not only what I would consider 5 star but I service was out of this world. I never sleep more than 3 to 4 hrs a night but I felt so at home that I found myself actually having to set an alarm to wake up. It is close to some great food and central to most activities. I would highly recommend you Visit Marvin and Tracy and just relax and let them so you what great service is.

This was our second stay, previous to this one was 4 years ago. we stayed in the Lodge and it is the most peaceful beautiful room I have stayed in. The grounds are immaculate, "Marvin's garden" is breath taking. Tracy is the most gracious host and the breakfasts are outstanding.
